My name is Anna Garner, and I am a Licensed Massage and Bodywork Therapist, continually amazed by all living systems' ability to regenerate. I am also an energy worker trained with the Healing Touch Program. HTP is a unique evidence-based curriculum designed to support caregivers with tools for self-care and practitioners promoting integrative support in healthcare.
My path as a practitioner has been shaped by ongoing study, curiosity, and a desire to honor the diverse land-based healing traditions that have flourished across cultures and generations. I am grateful to be part of a lineage of caregivers dedicated to nurturing others and cultivating spaces where transformation is possible. I am a third generation United Methodist and express my faith and love for community within the context of a local congregation in North Wilkesboro.
My work is inspired by my own life's journey of finding balance between exploring and restoring to Self. I am committed to an integrative approach, committed to the value of metta and heart-centered presence for my clients. I hold an Associate of Science in Horticulture from Central Piedmont Community College and a Permaculture Design Certificate from Charlie Headington in Greensboro, NC.
I moved to Wilkes County because of my husband’s job with Carenet Counseling. I reside a few miles from the Yadkin River, which serves as the boundary between Wilkesboro and North Wilkesboro. I acknowledge the native Cheraw people as the original stewards of this land, and recognize the influence of Moravian settlers, whose dedication to prayer continues to inspire. The natural landscape of Wilkes County offers tranquility and inspiration for individuals and groups seeking spiritual enrichment or respite from the stress of daily life.

Frequently Asked Questions
What do I wear to a Thai Massage?
Loose fitted clothing you can easily move around in would be the best option. Often people will wear yoga pants and a t shirt. I try to have Thai fisherman pants and a large t-shirt in the case of someone needing clothes to change into.
Where should I park ?
Free Public parking is available on Main st. for up to 2 hrs. There is also parking available in a lot between our building and the police station. The best way to access this parking is to come to the back of the building.
